I've just been reading the artical on the ttzed tech page for boost gauge installation and it all sounds confusing. Is it possible to just disconnecet the vacume hose off the presure balance pipe that the stock boost gauge uses? or is using another hose more accuate? I have already tried it and it seems to work fine reading about 6-7psi is this reading correct? What is standard boost for a tt zed? Cheers Josh:unsure:
Yes that's fine although for an extra 20 seconds work you might as well put a T-piece in so your stock gauge still works, for the hell of it. 9psi is factory boost, 7psi is safety boost so you may have a problem. Do an ECU diagnostic and let us know what that comes back with. Ben
