    Hey guys,

I read in an older thread that pexzed and a few others found a path from the engine bay to the fender to the window sill for a boost gauge hose - I've had a quick look and can't find it. Rather not hack up the bonnet release cable grommet (if I can even get to it!).

Anyone got any pics of this said pathway?

    Just did this last weekend.

Not sure what post u reffering to but i routed it myself.

If u take the right front inner splash guard off.

U will see a rubber grommet at the same level as the seal panel. Pull it off.

Inside remove the fuse box kickpanel and fold the carpet over. Near the accelerator pedal u see a round sticker thats covering a largish hole.

I fed a feed wire through till it got through the hole where the rubber grommet was.

Fed the boost hose through. Cut a small hole in the original grommet and fed the hose through it.

Routing to engine bay i just followed the other hoses that go to the solenoids near the boost sensor.

T pieced it with boost sensor hose.

Inside the car i routed mine to right pod as my gauge is bolted inside the pod.

But feeding it to pillar shouldnt be too hard.

Like it this way no new holes fed through a grommet no fumes etc..

Have fun took me few hrs to do but was worth it

    Hope i helped.

If you've got access to a lathe you could try my method.

Far out that's fkng sensational, I take it you don't have access to a lathe anymore?

I'm not that handy with a lathe so I wouldn't be any good even if I had access to one :(.

I reckon a group buy if you can get ahold of a lathe would go down well :D

Hey mate, is this the grommet you speak of? (bottom left hand corner big black rubber thing) this looks very, very promising :D

Yep thats the one. I fed a feed wire from inside of the car till u get it out or near that grommet. If u feed it other ways it will end up in the rear 1/4 panel. ;)

I was in bit of rush when i did it. Would have been good if i took pics. Next time.
