Hey fellas, The Z has a HKS EVC3, holds boost fine, probably working perfectly but I have no idea cause the screen is cactus, can see some characters but the leds are screwed. Kinda useless not being able to see what boost your running or adjust etc.. Trying to way up my options... Can I replace it with a second hand display? my understanding is they all have different serials so wont match the rest of the gear? Can you plug a laptop in with software to adjust it or do I just throw it away and buy a new one?

No worries, that one is actually newer. In Japan its the EVC2, released as EVC 3 everywhere else. Looks like this --> I'll buy a replacement one
What's broken exactly? Take it apart and fix the broken solder or component, if its the screen, go buy one from jaycar or dick smiths.
