hey guys i was just looking at my engine bay thinking about what i could do to spruce it up and the first thing that i thought was ugly is the soundproofing under the hood (which is torn and filthy) so i was thinking about turfing it..
by taking this out will engine noises be greatly increased?
will i create any probs by taking it out?

    Any feedback would be handy,

    cheers

I pulled mine out to fit the strut brace in. Don't have any troubles with it gone, doesn't run hot or damage the paint, not any noiser well the exhuast muffles that anyway...

Be careful, those little plastic things shoot off in all directions at great speed :p They sometimes leave little bits to rattle around in the bonnet supports creating mush anger and gnashing of teeth with annoyance
