when people have installed bonnet pins where have you drilled into the engine bay to allow room for the bottom of the pins to go? is it into the area behind the headlights? any pictures of where they sit from the underside of the bonnet would be great as i don't want to drill any extra holes:D

I positioned mine just next to the black bonnet stop rubber thingy on each side. I measured 1 inch back toward the firewall and then 1 inch towards the air flow meter and marked the spot. Same on the other side. The drilled a small pilot hole 1/8 inch up through the bonnet. Then closed the bonnet and drilled the correct sized hole down through the bonnet and into the radiaotr support panel, make sure this is done with a near level drill to avoid misalignment.

I did have to cut back the rods by over half to clear the headlight inside bulb covers but found they fit very very well and easy to get to to tighten and adjust etc.

    Hope this helps
