After hours of searching.... phonecalls ... and many cups of coffee later .....


I have managed to locate a supplier willing to provide us with the Bomex skirts to fit the 2 and 4 seater 300ZX



however........ ( there's always a catch )




He wants to know a 'rough idea' on how many sets would need to be made so a "price" can be sorted out BEFORE production begins, which I can understand fully.
This IS NOT a commitment to buy or pay up front, its simply so he can work out a fair price for a single large number of skirts we hope to order.

Once he has worked out a price, I'll advertise it here and those wishing to proceed can then make the payment.
NB: the supplier will also do the rear valance I have pictured in the thread at the top of this post ( very similer to the rear valance as seen on my ZX )

it's a bit hard to say I'm keen when you haven't given any indication of pricing. However I'd like some for my 2+2 assuming the price+freight wasn't too much

 

I'm in the same situation but 2 seater..also where is the supplier located? would pick up be an option?

 

IM KEEN - definately for the skirts (as long as price is reasonable and im assuming the skirts come with the door fillers as well), and possibly on the valance (if price is cheap). to suit a 2 seater. cheers

I need an indication of roughly how many sets would be wanted .... the more sets then the lower the price..... freight would vary considerably depending on what state your in ( Obviously !! )

Once I have a basic number.... he'll advise me of a price, then I'll post the price and ppl can either commit to a purchase or not.

For your own experiment.....
ring your local freight company and get a rough quote on a cardborad box thats roughly 1800mm long X 700mm wide X 700mm high and weighs around the 30KG mark EX Melbourne.
Pickup MAY be available....

i've been looking at these for a while and i'm keen but we'll just wait and see what the price is.. or may just get skirts if combined of rear bar and skirts is too much for me

How good will the fit me?

 

dam if it was stillen skirts id be in 100%. those skirts are ugly and u will need the correct full kit to make them look ok, otherwise they stick out too far if u dont have a rear bar that sticks out the sides like these do....

 

yes Chad, you are right.
I got my bomex skirts by themselves first and no rear bar, i regretted it straight away as is didn't let the bottom lines of the car flow. So i straight away went out and bought the bomex rear apron aswell. Now it looks the shit.

One thing about the bomex skirts though, is IMO they suite just about any front bar.
...oh, maybe apart from Veilside though!

 

benny ur bomex skirts are different to the ones he has shown. ur ones are alot nicer than the ones he has shown

Mine are definately copies of the original Bomex as i've seen original versions in person. Mine are also cheapies from Carmate.
I wasn't going to say anything about the bomex ones pictured in the start of this thread, but i noticed they don't quite look like mine or any other bomex's that i've seen. :sorry:
