Sorry, but if you see that diffuser to be similar to mine, then I understand why some people think it's expensive.

Similar in functionality, sorry I should have specified. They are both 'diffusers' (term used very loosley)

you get what you pay for, the latest and best looking parts for a 300zx naturally will cost more then the cheap knock offs. Its all relative and the best thing if you dont want to pay for a new fresh innovation well then.. dont , no one will ever say "its too cheap" . I for one will definitely be considering it as i missed out on the GB for the rear bar :( but scored another low bar a diffuser could go on :D keep developing the products Twinz , people always have their own opinions good or bad :) and who would take the time to do a knockoff and then sell super cheap anyway after all the hard work , genuine all the way I say:br:

Well, I would happily support your product if I had the cash free :(

I missed out on the group buy for the bar (money again) due to building a house, but as soon as I have some liquid cash, it will be coming your way :zlove:

NB: To all the zedders looking forward to cheap knock off items.... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!! [TIS]

EDIT: if you can (not sure on feasibility) you should make a product like this in plastic or urethane for only a little bit more money. Would make it a far superior product to any knock off and maybe get a few more nay-sayers parting with their cash ;)

    Cheers

you must live in a fantasy world if u think your stuff will not be copied. the most expensive parts world wide are copied so whether you like it or not it will be done, thats just how the world is and aint nothing you can do about it... its not the z32 community its not your customers, its the whole world... if every company thought like you there would be no companies producing anything... (e.g greddy, stillen etc)

and im not begging, i personally would like to own this product but i "personally" cannot justify throwing that much cash on the product esp with shipping ontop... can i afford it, yes. will i purchase it for that much, no... again thats me personally...

so what your telling me is my greddy copy bar which mind you fits perfect, looks good etc etc is rubbish ? :)

Likewise, ill go a step further and say people on here have no grasp of the concept of intellectual property. Yes, i doubt there are any legal ramifications of copying a body kit part from Peru but what you are doing is STEALING. It seems like everyone's trying to justify that they want a copied part because its too expensive or whatever... Get off your lazy ass and design one yourself! No wonder the after-market industry is in the shit..

The only reason anything is copied is because the copied versions are ridiculously cheaper than the originals.

Lets face it... A semi-functional add-on ie: body-kit has had almost no R&D applied. Just shaped to ones own personal taste by a professional, mould is taken, then mass produced.

If the company or individual can produce copies at a much cheaper price and still turn good profit, why not beat them at their own game and make the price gap smaller to begin with? Then it wouldn't be worth making a copy and everyone is happy...

    Cheers

I was actually surprised to see the part cost so much.

The country has an average purchasing power Income equilivant of about 1/4 of Australia's. So the labour is very very cheap. However the part is very very dear.

We could produce the part here cheaper and still turn a profit. The profit being made overseas... They will be laughing.

On the notion suggested that someone making a cheap knockoff isn't a real z enthusist or doesn't support the z market. I believe the opposite. Our cars are so old and need so many parts, if we didn't have cheaper alternatives outside Nissan, then we couldn't afford the cars and most of the community wouldnt exist. Cheap alternative products are the backbone of our entire community.

I agree that the thought of a fiberglass bodypart not being copied displays an outlandish and fanciful display of childhood ignorance. Sorry but it's the world... There is hordes of billions of people around, ignorant business tactics wont beat them all.

Still love the part by the way.

Yes you can't compare "universal fit" parts with car specific parts in terms of cost....

Might have to get one for my 2+0 and I can compare it to my full 2+2 one.
I snooped about but they don't seem to be on sale anywhere.
Seems to be a lot of politics going on.

bolt ons aren't available anywhere yet, twinz is apparently finishing their side skirt add-ons then the bolt on diffusers / wing / side skirt things will all be done in a group buy, both via UAS & Z1. You'll also be able to buy their rear bars.
