Black Baz's Bling all complete!

Looks great Baz.

Can I bring my over next time to have mine done.

i had all the bling bits ready, powder coated, painted and so on well in advance .. ( upper plenum, rad cowling, timing belt covers, cam/rocker covers, balance pipe plus the red vacuum hose from caz ..) .. uncle vic wasn't happy with my radiator hard pipes so ripped them off and did an on the spot polish job ..!!!

it was then a matter of pulling all the same installed items from my zed and replacing them with with my pre-blinged spare set of everything .. as already mentioned, a big job and quite a one day performance by rob and vic ...

my red zed .. i think i have picked up what took your eye leading to you think that black bess had a prior "red" life .. i had painted, in red, the fire/sound proofing attached to the underside of the bonnet .. i see that some of this shows up in dink's pics giving the impression of a red bonnet ..???

Well you know what they say, it dosnt matter what the outside colour is, but its always pink inside, or in this case red, lol

well baz cannot say he has pink bits then can he more like red bits :

Those marks

If you take off the rubber lining on the underside of the bonnet it will stop those marks on the radiator guide.

Be patient and careful, yabbies decals are a little harder to get right, than they look!

hey baz,
the cover around your battery, is that stock? or did you make it yourself?
if so, what did you use? or is it off ebay?

thinking about doing something similar as my battery looks like shit in my engine bay.

jaybo ... it is a $17 battery box from super cheap ..!!!

.. i spray undercoated it then hit it with a few coats of chrome paint ..

it is a fraction too big .. next time i would go for a slightly smaller one .. also the top is not on as it sits too high .. i think that i could trim the box down a bit so that the top would fit and so completely hide the battery ,,,

arrrgh, you've let the team down black baz way too much shiny stuff in there and a little too much red for my tastes, still, it looks nice but could look sooo much nicer

 

All this red, Baz! Cool! Is there something we should read into this? A closet RED Zed fan, perhaps? Although, I have to say "Red Baz" does not have the same mystique as "Black Baz".
