Hi guys, I'm reco'n my engine so it could hold higher boots but don't know what's the biggest turbo i can fit into the Zed. If anyone can help plz give me some info, I heard the HKS 2540 is the biggest but not so sure. Any other alternative ( cheaper ) would be great. Cheers:thumbsup:

I beliave That the only TRUE. bolt on turbo's available are the JWT sports range. Correct me if I am wrong. I think up to the JWT Sports 600 turbo(600hp rated), they are a direct bolt on, meaning they use OEM oil lines water lines and compressor inlet/outlet pipes and so on. Where as unless you buy the HKS turbos as a Z32 kit, you wont have the necessary parts for them to be direct bolt on, and will require custom fabrication of pipes etc.. *I think* The JWT turbos are also well priced, I am going to be getting some, either Sports 500's or 550's
Biggest in stock location? Or biggest using stock manifold? Biggets in stock location would be turbos like PE1420, td05-18g (or even a td06???), GT28RS.... Using stock manifold (which is a bit of a restriction for any turbo) then maybe GT2540... For truely bolt up try bolt up turbo upgrades
no small question you ask. to properly answer it, will need more info. are you running forgies and aftermarket rods? what power to you want? what kinda use will the car see (drag/track/street only)? take a look at THIS post from twinturbo.net for a excellent comparison of common turbos for the Z32. Biggest turbos? not sure. why do you want the biggest turbos? 2540s are at that end of the scale. pretty sure you could get a pair of td06s on there as well (custom manifold will be required). bang for bux, maybe the sport500 is the best buy. pretty sure its plug and play.
I have the TD05x18s on mine And they will give you all the power you need really big turbo think they are rated at 600hp
