best oil for a vg30dett with 245k k's

    my z is currently running motul 10w40 but on a warm start lately i have noticed a tapping of sorts. what sort of oil should i replace it with? i was thinking a 15w50 but i would like some input from those who know.

    20/50 semi syn should do the trick

    would 20 be too thick?

    i was thinking a 15 should be more then enough..

    whats your compression result like?

    all good across the board. compressions tests were done about 2 months ago.
