well if the heads were for R5's ..I would run jun 272/9.5 and the 264/9.5 will be a drop in replacement anytime . I have jun 264's so we can swap later
With Kabir's build, he has jun 264's and has an idle @1050. That is operating on a base tune. From what i have found, 272 will idle around 1250rpm. It may seem obvious , but will progressing from a base tune to a more operable tune done in the progessive stages mean a change in the idling rpm.... at any stage ?
I picked jun 264's. I considered your mentioning on a future exchange and as well as it being a great idea. At the time, I thought my indecision was actually holding other peoples projects up , So i went with what just seemed safest. Altogether , I was quite complex at the time and had to really just sit down and just do it over and done with. I have since added... AMS 2.5 intakes and Servicing of Lateral gas ports to the Wiseco's. I keep thinking to myself that this type of build is almost done! Going up that hill with the expense of big dollar parts...... and it is really just about all over.........Sooooooooon..... i will be heading down that hill .......towards the lower $ expense parts....... all along the way....down that hill lol
