After a long day at work I went to the car park just after 6pm to find an empty car park where I had left my Telstar TX5 earlier that day.I have had the TX5 for 3 months and in that time I had been hit twice and now has been stolen. What surprised me most was that it was taken from level 4 of a secure car park in the Adelaide CBD. Well at least it will give me a chance to get reacquainted with the Zed again. My wifes Mazda323 ...>> was stolen from the driveway and pushed off a near cliff. Not much left of it to salvage.Hope yours is simply left in a carpark somewhere.Cheers and good luck
That sux, telstars are great cars.. ..very comfy, nice bit of power. Hope you get it back(unless your glad its gone )
The TX5 was a great car, it will be missed The V6 of the TX5 is surprisingly good. It shares this engine with the MX6 and Ford Probe. Coupled with manual transmission it outperforms 75% of anything on the road. It is actually quite a satisfying feeling embarrassing a 5L V8 commodore or new VY V6 commodore S in a 10 year old TX5. Even managed to embarrass a Series 1 S14 200SX at the lights, not bad for a 4 door hatch with full electrics and amazing amount of space. The engine above 4 Grand sounds great, really gets a racey sound and feel to it. Below 4 Grand is so quiet you hardly know it is there. I would definitely consider another one or recommend them to anyone who wants a practical car that you can still really drive. The only disappointment was hard cornering but I was planning to get some heavier springs and lower it slightly. Guess it was a good things I held off on getting that done.
