    1. From the 'NO' (normally open) port of the control valve, do I need to fit a 'T' piece and two hoses, ie. one to each side of the motor, or will plumbing to just one side be sufficient?2. Have any of you guys hooked the purple wire up to the injector wire? I was thinking it would be best to hook up to the Tacho wire, and forget about the injector duty function.

I used the metal t-pieces that

are left over when you remove the factory boost cut solenoids. The NO port of the AVCR solenoid goes into a tee-piece and with a length of hose going down to each wastegate actuator. You also have the same setup for the other port of the solenoid but instead the two hoses go to the little nipples on the hard pipes leading up to the throttle bodies (I think).I connected both the injector signal and the rpm signal up to a switch that allows me to switch between rpm based or injector based control though I find myself always on the rpm signal.

    injector wire.

i recon its more important to know what your injectors are doing as the stocks are near max at 15 psi/7000rpm, apart from that you got a tacho 6 or 7 times larger right in front of you.i supose it could be good for RPM recording on the avcr, but i use ztalk for data logging.in any case you could just use a 3 way toggle switch and use both (but not at the same time obviously)
