Can anyone tell me if the power diagnostic light should flash on start up. It did in the past, but it seems to be on with no flash now. Is this normal. Or when it flashed it was not normal. Any thoughts please would be helpful. Cheers Bigmax.

    re power button

I always believed that the power button let the rev range extend before the auto changed up, so i have it on all the time. I have a shift kit and a tweeked up converter in my auto. Correct me if i am wrong. So should i use the power button at all. Thats if you know what your talking about having auto experience.

If power button is selected, as you say, the rev range is extended and the power light stays on. If Hold is selected it will stay in one gear. If in off/neutral position the pwer light will come on for a few seconds on startup

yes if the power button is on the light will stay on, the shift point does change up in the revs, be aware in the middle position (between hlod and power) power mode will engage if you stab the throttle aggressively which means you can actually engage power mode for passing etc with a simple sharp bit of right foot action. if power mode is not selected yes the power light does come on for a few seconds on start up (well mine does)
