Hi Guys, I recently purchased a TT auto that wont engage in any gear. No odd sounds but after a few mins it feels as if it is "trying" to engage, ie, it attempts to move forward or back but only just noticeable. The previous owner swapped the tranny but the same problem persisted so I am thinking possible electrical probs/line pressure so I swapped the ATCU but still same, any ideas?
was just going to say check the fluid levels. beyond that there are internals that would probably need to be looked at, and while I have an auto I am first to admit I know nothing of the voodoo that goes into these mechanisms of mystery. manual boxes are so much easier to conceptualise in my head.
there be fuses for the auto ecu. Think its in the fuse/relay panel in the engine bay. Eric/a2zed probably a little more experienced in location.
