Just put my motor and gearbox back in my car.
It's come to my attention That wires from my gear box are running dangerously close the the turbo/dump pipe?
Am I running the wires correctly or am I supposed to run them a different way to get the 3 plugs plugs at the front of the engine bay in drivers side?

If it's an auto, the wires run up along the dip stick away from the turbos and up the back of the plenum and then run on the side of the plenum toward the front.

If it's a manual, then there are probably minimal wires and I have no idea about that. Mine's an AUTO!

Similar question, I've got my box out at the moment as well, anyone know where I can get something to wrap those wires in? There is some heat wrap on them atm, but its pretty old. Tried Autobarn and Repco but they don't sell anything

See ebay - you can buy gold reflective fibreglass tape that you can wrap around - does the job but is $25 for 5 Metres (2 1/2" wide)
