Hi, would like to communicate with anyone who has installed Ash spec 2.5" pipework. Need to inquire as to whether any difficulties were experienced or whether any modifications were required.

    Thanks

It’s unlikely anybody will experience difficulty fitting Ash’s products as they will simply never receive them. Steer clear.

If by chance you already have the kit, could be some massaging required with a hammer.

If not, don’t deal with him. Ever

Thanks Jamie - Have already bought (unfortunately). However, like you say, a large hammer could be very handy.

Maybe have a search on the american forums for install tips, see twinturbo.net & 300zxclub.com

Ash's products are meant to be excellent quality so if you've actually managed to receive your item then you should be fine, the issue is he's extremely unreliable & his commitments to delivery normally blow out by several months to years.

Thanks lidz, will do that. Our job is a little more difficult because we have deleted the EGR valve and associated pipework and are installing 2 catch cans out under the fr. bumper - this has necessitated installing 16mm hose from the various valve cover outlets and our efforts to "bury" these interferes with the AshSPEC pipework. In addition the use of a 240Z charcoal canister has meant that we can no longer use the 300 OEM steel pipes and have had to use 6mm silicone hose on LHS of the engine thus taking up a little more room.
