I wouldn't mind a few local anecdotes. The folks over at twinturbo.net seem to appreciate the SPL's a lot more than the Tein Flex. I plan on getting a set of coilovers soon to add to my list of suspension bits, but there are so many brands to choose from. I'm after a semi-street semi-track feel. I'm still doing my research. I've emailed SPLparts on ordering instructions for o/s deliveries, and I'm still waiting for a response. They appear to be cheaper than the Flex', and with very similar specs. Regards, Joe
if your after a semi street semi track get racing logic, been fiddling with mine a little more lately and wow, i love them :zlove: make the car handle like its on rails now but can be set up for drifting incredibly easily (if thats your thing) as well as having immense hieght adjustability
yeah the yanks have very little time for tein's in general, not just the flex. SPL's coilovers are actually made by KTS a japanese company, although the spec was apparantly tuned by Kuah (of SPL). As such you can readily buy them from japan, infact KTS sell all their suspension gear on yahoo auctions japan for damn good prices so I'd definately recommend checking out that option. Otherwise another option is to buy a good quality used set from japan. The hundreds you save can be put aside until they arrive should 1 or 2 need minor repairs. In the end you have a higher quality set in excellent condition for the same or less than you'd spend for an average set new. cheers, tim
