Hi there, I have a BIG single Apexi cat back exhaust system from Japan. It is in fantastic condition and has 4 inch mandrel bent pipe throughout and a 5 inch outlet. It is for a 2+2. $500 Kevin 0450320347
Interested. Just wondering how a big single hooks up? Where do the pipes merge? As in would I attach it to my dumps, or front pipes?
Most big singles have a large restrictor in place to take it from the 2 pipes, down to one pipe before it open up to a larger pipe. Mabey this one is different? Pictures would help. I can post pics of my big single connectioin tonight, which i would imagine would be identical.
well its a cat back system so i would say after the cats. most likely it will have a Y pipe after the cats into the 4" pipe ending with the 5" outlet. i just fitted a 3" single apexi cat back to a r33 and its really loud... like really really really loud!
The exhaust is a direct bolt up from your cats back. From the cats they merge through a nicely designed "Y" section straight into the large pipe - no restriction there.
