Anyone removed the engine oil pan before?

    The service manual says to drop the cross member but I would like to know if anyone has done so without lowering it. I am hoping that lifting the engine will give enough clearance.

    You cant pull the pan without pulling down the cross member.

    You hang the engine off the strut towers while you pull the cross member off

    2nd - Impossible without dropping cross member

    or pulling the engine out. I've tried:(
