https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-300ZX-1991/SSE-AD-4657593/?Cr=6 "The car belongs to Roy illingworth, we went to the movies on thursday night come out its was gone" Owner has already been notified
He'll probably get some heat (pardon the pun) from the police & his insurance company, nothing like 'oh, yeah, I'd been trying to sell it for a while" to get them sus...
Valid point you raise. $20k asking price... and found burnt to a crisp in the bush same suburb. If it was insured for similar money it's not unreasonable to raise eye brows.
...as long as he got a mate to thrash it for a few hours first he should be right. If CCTV cams see it taken at 8:45pm & then reports of a car on fire at 9:05pm at a spot that's a 20min drive from where it was taken - then insurance company is going to call bullshit!
I can only hope the a hole that set it on fire was in it at the time. I will never understand why people that feel the need to steal other peoples property then find the need to destroy it
If not he can google his misfortune on the internet now. Pretty tidy car that would of gotten descent money, cant see someone taking that sort of risk for a few dollars. Hope it all gets sorted quickly for the owner.
Seeing every new car comes with one, and a/m immobilizers are cheap, I'm surprised insurance companies will even insure you without one.
Yeah in WA you cant sell a car unless it has one fitted and they wont transfer it unless you get one. Lots of people tick the has immobilizer box when it doesn't and if car stolen first thing the insurance does is check for it.
Hahaa Haaaaa that it is and like Z32 prices they are falling rapidly. What we need is Jeremy Clarkson to parachute into the open roof of a Z32 and say "Its the best car in the world !". [yt]Fi2zCGjt9XQ[/yt]
Saw this, the weekend before it was stolen, I live a town over feel sorry for the bloke was a nice z, got me skeptical about going anywhere near morwell now
Only if he T-bars himself because his mates switched out the convertible for a targa. They had a red later model Z32 TT on one of their episodes. Hammond had it. It was the only car that worked perfectly. He opened his door with purpose, to damage it. Clarkson threw one of the targas into a river. The interior of the Zed was then exposed to icy weather. I think that was the episode that started my disinterest in Hammond and Clarkson and their antics on that show. We need a Japanese version of Top Gear
