They did the wheels test on a Volkswagen Golf ,what does that tell you lol Stop cheaping out and get some real tyres, although driving on a dyno, they may be perfect for you
they not cheapos are they? 200-250 a tyre new. Unless u can find me somethgin iin melb for 200 a tyre new bout 245/40/18s.
you've got your budget all wrong. In 17's, my maxxis were around 250 a tyre in 255/40/17. Let alone 18s. And they're a budget ok tyre.
Yeah, I've got some experience with them. Spent a week in a Passat R36, which uses the SP Sport 01A as standard rubber. It's a bloody good tyre. Loads of grip, however was a little noisy at highway speeds. If you can get them in that size for $200-$250 they're great value.
I used to use the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. Is that the same? Anyway, I foudn them great, but upgraded to the Eagle F1 GS-D3 as I found them better in the wet.
u are SO STINGY !!!! you want a 245 18 inch tyre for under 200 bucks... go buy some stockies and look for some tyres for them under 200... better even go buy a barina and you can get a whole set for 200 !!! WHY ARE YOU SO STINGY... tyres CONNECT YOU 2 THE ROAD
you'd think owning the 10th most powerful zed in the southern hemisphere, you'd be able to afford a half decent set of tyres
245... hope they are for the fronts.... If your going to buy 18" rims it's going to cost you to get a decent set of tyres. The problem is these days you can get a full rim and tyre package for cheap cheap and people forget about having to replace the tyres in the future, not to mention they are usually cheap and nasty tyres to begin with. Ranting aside, think about this. Your tyres are your car's grip on the world. That small patch of rubber is all that lies between your car and the tarmac. Do you still think it wise to cheap out on such a critical piece of rubber... With that all said I'm happy to be proven wrong, that there is a cheap reliable tyre out there for 18". But if your gonna go big you should at least go wide for some traction! And can't see them being cheap for 265+
It's the way it is for our ridiculous offsets I paid over 200 per tyre for maxxis tyres, on 17x8's and 17x9's. Can't imagine getting anything cheaper than that for an 18
hold on .. i am lost here .. ??? the most fantastic web/hosting site in the entire shithouse hemisphere (and wanting to host this website) is asking for a product review .. when the entire, world wide, interschisen-net is soooo available to locate reviews on some mickey mouse tyres >>>> ????... walt disney@wanker.com has all your answers ...
NEXEN N3000 265/35/18" @$185($200 per tyre fitted and balanced), 235/40/18" are cheaper than that. St George Tyre Service in Sydney(will ship anywhere). What planet are you guys living on?:zlove::zlove:
