i posted a thread afew weeks ago about the anti lock light... never got to the bottom of it, checked fuses, power steering fluid level etc. everything was fine recently i had a power steering leak in the high pressure hose... the night before i took it in for repairs i was installing a new head deck...blew one of my fuses (was a 10-red) at the drivers side footwell... had no spares so i took out the one in the abs fuse spot in the engine bay and chucked in in there just to see if it works...after finding out it was the right one i went 2 the auto shop and bought a pack...chucked another one into the abs spot...started the car and for the first time since ive owned the car the anti lock light came off :S the steering immediately felt lighter as if the power steering was actually working (this is before i got the hose repaired and fluid was running very low) took it for a spin around the block and i was amazed at how it felt next morning i take it 2 the repairers and get it back...leak is all fixed up however the anti lock light is back on and steering is back to being heavy as hell changed fuses again...no go... can anybody give any advice...i dont know if i should clean any connectors maybe its got a faulty reading however i dont know which connectors i should be looking at any help is muchly appreciated thanks guys
