    Hey all,

I just put in a second hand stock antenna into my zed as the old one was missing rods from the antenna so it would only go up about 2 rods. Now my question is that i'm trying to hook it up so that when i turn the radio on the antenna raises and when i change to CCD or turn it off it goes down, I believe i have located the 2 wires that control this. Do i connect one of them to my antenna control on my CD and the other to a neutral because i tried to hook them both to my antenna control but nothing worked.

I hope you understand what i'm trying to explain :p, any help is appreciated

    Antenna erections

Matex, I have a similiar problem.

The standard power antenna has two leads. When you apply 12v +ve to one lead and -ve to the other, the antenna goes up. When you reverse the polarities on these leads, the antenna goes down. My head unit has only one control lead for the power antenna. It's supposed to work like +ve power on a control lead, it goes up, reapply power it goes down. ie no polarity change.
    It doesn't operate my antenna.

Your head unit doesn't seem like it's factory. Is this your problem also.

Yeah mine isn't a stock one. There must be a way of sorting this out :p

just bumping this up so someone could help me out. Is there something i could buy that would allow the antenna to be controlled by the head units single antenna cable ???
