ACT Another formal at Old Parl House - 9 Dec

Hi,
Anyone interested in another cruise/drop off to formal at OPH for my son, (Year 10) on Thusday Dec 9 please let me know or pm me. I will try to arrange passengers but cannot promise (you know what kids are like these days ) and will organise someone to take pix from outside on arrival. Then I will find another unique pix location.

Dropoff will be sometime after 6pm to about 6:45pm. We will meet at a convenient place then drive to near National Library to group for the drive to OPH.

Same day as my graduation, but I think I'll be able to make it - put me down as maybe for now

 

Charlesz I have just found out that my work has sent me to Melbourne that night. Have tried to delay the flight but at these stage at looks like I am flying out at 6pm trust me I know what I would rather be doing, especially given the effort you put in for my son's formal. I am still trying to see what I can do but at this stage it looks unlikely for me

Hi all,
All is go for tomorrow night. Looks like 3 of you might be available but I'll go with whoever turns up.

Going to his graduation tonite to firm up details about photos when we arrive.

Since it's only my son, (doesn't seem to have female interest at his age ), I can pick him up from home. We can meet at the front of the National Library about 5:45pm to form up and get to OPH about 6:15pm.

Then we can go for photos.

I have to hang around to take him home so I will bring some food and refreshments. If it's not raining maybe I will bbq some snags after the photoshoot. Feel free to join me.

Unfortunatley I have to go to Melbourne with work that arvo. Hoping to look at a couple of Zs for my eldest son while I'm there. I hope everything goes well and the rain holds.
PS. we are running out of time for a Xmas get together for all ACT Z owners. Any thoughts or ideas appreciated? My girlfriend and I are having Xmas drinks on the 18th round at her place in Reid after 6:30pm BYO. Maybe we could use that date and venue? Any Interest?

how did this all go ?

 

Went reasonably well, there were 4 of us in total and we just cruised to old parl house, dropped the kid off and headed back for a chat and some photos. most of the pics were taken by charles - i've got a few iphone pics that I'll put up when I've got the time (too busy packing right now)
