A few questions actually... Contemplating putting in GT28RS turbos. is a 2.5" exhaust going to be restrictive in that case?

Im a little unsure how to know... if someone could explain.....?

    edit: i have searched. :)

man your best bet, take it to a good exhaust shop and tell him the setup your aiming for, in my opinion, 2.5 will be OK, but you could easily go bigger and get more power out of it.

2.5" is said to flow up to 900hp i think

    naw

you'd be lucky to find an exhaust shop that knows or cares how it performs. I'd say go 2.5 unless you're aiming for over 550 hp.

you need twin 5" exhaust for GT28RS turbos which are the be all and end

    all of turbos, i.e GT28RS > all

nah, 2.5" is totally fine up to 700ish HP, maybe a tad more. You really don't benefit from 3" so really, you are just going to get more noise and the same power.
