If the chassis rail isnt damaged. I can tell you the Shocker tower will be bent inwards a fair bit. This is similar to what happened to Billy's car.

You need to get the manual and measure from the shocker tower bolts from side to side to see how much it is bent. It can be pulled, But it isnt easy. Took 6 hours to get Billy's car right

 

do you mean the tein shock absorber? or further up where it bolt's to the chasis?
didnt billy hit in the wheel arch area?

 

yep he is talking about where it bolts up. billies one was way out.

apart from that, if everyhign is double checked and its not bent, this is an easy fix.. change front gaurd, change the door, get the rear quater+bottom door sill pushed out, some skirts, respray and bobs ur uncle. obviousli this is if it aint bent

 

The tower, where the shocker bolts. Hits like these tend to bend the top inward and destroy you camber settings. even Alex's car is a bit bent up there.

Can be fixed but its a bit if a job.

I have a tower support tool I made that fits on top of the bolts on each tower. You can tell straight away if it bent.

I made it as an engine slinger.

well, what i am thinking is:

gear box with brand new heavy duty clutch with lighten flywheel only runs 3500km--1500
(gear box in good cond.)

engine with good look after only runs about 125000km-----------------------------1000

the 18" wheel, i don't really know how much they worth, guess---------------------750

tien HA coilovers, not sure--------------------------------------------------------750

twin HKS Super Drag and high flow cats--------------------------------------------300

FMIC and the hard pipes----------------------------------------------------------300

the price up there just my personal guess.

1500+1000+750+750+300+300=$4600

don't bother about the BOVs and the hard pipes, sound system, white face speedometer and all other stuffs that is in the car.

I'm not a wreaker.

the problem is that the engine smokes, so there is more problems then just the smash

for the money , it just way to much to risk it .

the paint job is not the best , anywhere on the car , so it needs a full job.
both side of the car , under the doors , it has to big dents on the chassis.
the drivers wheel will needs to be replaced and the lower arm , .
the wheel coped a hit so it most likely be buckled .
suspension not sure, tower not sure , it does look ok , but putting another door on and another guard on , will tell the story .....

 

the engine doesnt smoke alex, the turbo seals leak on cold start if left for 3-5 mins without driving.

once driven wont re appear until the next day, if driven within 2-3 minutes of a cold start you never see the smoke.

michael those super draggers are RARE and expensive, they came as a singlet kit for the 300zx goodluck finding a pair for a 2+2 in aus for sale. took me ages to find a second one.
the muffler alone goes for $200+.

 

well i does smoke now .

even on the day i took it for a drive and rod's house when the engine was hot . it was still smoking , , he took it up and down the street and it was smoking . it may have gotten worse since you last seen it trav.

 

the engine smokes, can not just be the engine, can be the turbo..

the civic did not hit straight to the wheel, just scrach it. the civic hit the door, straight to me. u can see the bent, from the whole car! after i took the front guard off, u can also found that the box and other things are fine. otherwise the indicater will broken as well. but it is all good.

that day, the zed got towed to the RACV, already got quote from the people who works in RACV. they jack up the car. have a check and just the arm is bent a little bit.
the suspension and coilover are just fine. so the wheel will be fine sure.

 

u didn't drive my zed that day. u drove martin's zed. my zed sitting there for the whole day. about 5 o'clock, i drive her to buy some ice cream. the shop just out side , in the main road. about 1 min, i drove back with no smoke at all, and i remember i showed u guys, "see.....no smoke at all"

no one test drive my car on that day! everyone showed up on that day can prove.

i didn't know they are that EXPENSIVE!

that's why...shit!!! i always start the car outside and go back into the house and eat my breakfast, just for warm up the car, and leave it until the turbo timer turns it off.
people of the my neighborhood always complain. police come along a few times...
i've do everything i think they are best for the car. i don't care about the fuel, the money. u can see it from the way i do things to the car, take her to jetspeed(becoz my friend said they do good jobs, they are expensive though) , and i clean the engine bay almost every week.

on that day at rob's you left the car running for some time and we were talking about the smoke with a bunch of other guys , , for some time ..

thats is what ive been telling you .

it could be the turbo or the engine ......lol but at the end of the day , there is smoke coming out of the exhaust .

 

its the turbos, i know for a fact it never smoked after driven when i had the car. it was always grey and never blue.
the engine itself is strong and pulls hard.

it only ever smoked after getting the dump pipes done, my guess is they used a hammer on the dumps as one bolt was stuck loosening the seal, and it smoked the second they started it up after that.

got better after i fitted cats, and even better after a H pipe but never completely fixed.

 

the time u came was about 4 o'clock, i came to Rod's house about 10 o'clock in the morning. how can't a car cool down in 6 hours?

i start the car becoz u guys want to hear how do the twin super drag exhausts sounds like. coz it blow too much smoke, so i turn it off(about 1 minute). remember that?

by the time we left about 7 o'clock. the sky completly dark. the car completly cool down again.

that's ture, i can say the car never blow the oil bule smoke.

The car definitely didn't piss smoke when Trav had it, cos I saw it for several days straight, but we're talking many months ago.
