    Hi guys
Have a small problem with my a/c compressor. It makes rattling noise when it on. Ideler is O.K.
Recently called "autotech" and they ask me to provide exact compressor model:confused:
I thought they are the same for Z32.
Just wander if anyone have an idea what could be in 1989 n/a Jap spec model?
Will need to find refurbished one to put it in later.
By the way called "stage&co" they specialize on A/C and got a quote $550 just for labor:eek: and 1.5 days work!!!
    Cheers

TT and NA have different compressors due to the inlet/outlet arrangement.

    Is yours TT or NA?

All I've been able to find is:

    NA comps
    Early TT comps
    Late TT comps

Never heard of a diff between the J-Spec and Aus-Spec.

I cant tell you any part numbers but the j-specs have a higher volume compressor as they have climate control in the s1. Have you tried phoning nissan for a part number that your a/c man could cross reference?

That rings a bell, maybe Karl can have a look on HaylZ's Z for a comparison while the engine's out and degreased :)
