AFM , Impul ECU etc.

Hi,

I have got to get rid of this stuff as it is wasting space in my garage.

Air Flow Meter $250.00 (Can supply plug if wanted)

Impul remapped ECU for Twin Turbo Manual $200.00 ( I ran 14 PSI with no problems with this ecu , ran 13.4 with this ECU and 14 PSI rest of the car was stock.)

TT manual ECU $120.00

TT Auto ECU $100.00

Intake Plenuim $50

A set of exhaust manifolds (Turbo) $50

2 x TT Heads $100 for the pair. Don't know if they are any good , can't see any cracks , you welcome to check them out.

I also have cam gears and cam shafts just make an offer I'll get rid of them cheap.

When you say intake plenum, do you mean the upper or lower plenum?

If it is upper plenum I will take it.

You'll have to excuse me, I'm a bit of a n00b. If I was to use this Impul ECU, how would it allow me to run higher boost?

Hey Daz07,

The Impul ECU has a different map to a standard ecu. the fuel and ignition settings have been changed to allow you to safely run more boost and improve the preformance of the car , however you will need a boost controller to increase the boost. Impul Garage is a workshop in Japan that builds heaps of cars and remap's ECU's , correct me if i'am wrong.

Does that make sense?

 

Damn, oh well doesn't matter. I don't really need it, just thought it would be good to have a spare, as I've got an idea for some mega bling, but it's gonna take bloody ages to do.

 

I would like to take a look at the heads and AFM. Where abouts in Brisbane are you and would it be ok to come and have a look at them this weekend?

If you are reconsidering rutuning an impul ecu, you should check it has no had a resin holding the chip in...

Hi,

No such thing as i dumb Q You don't need to tune it , as it is already tuned for your 300zx you just plug it into where your existing ecu lives now and drive away , thats what i did the car drove great and i was able to safely run more boost as the impul ecu has a different map than your standard ecu, it runs more fuel. There's no extra cost for tuning or anything just the cost of ecu.

If you want it i will let it go for $180

Okay....well i would take it now but i have a hole in my pocket......just one more Qs on this impul ecu.....did you notice better economy and also alot more power, i take it you didnt just stick this in and boost it up as obviously you would get abit of power from boosting.....just want 2 check to be sure...
