Hey guys, i just got my 91 TT not long ago, and there are a few features that bothers me.. I've searched, but would rather have better assurance of its condition.. 1. Cooling fan is on whenever the car is started (very strong wind btw).. Is this normal for the Zed, cos it certainly does not do that for my other cars.. 2. Coolant temperature gauge in the dash barely moves when the car is running, but is more accurate IMO when the car is idling.. But when it moves again the needle drops again lol. Have tried cleaning the sensor connector. 3. Fuel pump is extremely loud when i turn the keys to 'on'.. But just for a second and a half.. 4. The gearbox shifter will fall back a bit when i relase the acc pedal, but goes foward a bit when i accelerate.. The clucth was recently changed. 5. Vaccum is around 15-18 when car is idling. I haven't push the car hard yet, but the best i've gotten so far is 5psi at 4.5k rpm.. Any indication of turbo problems? Cos the right turbo has a bit of oil leak from its drain back hose and oil cooler pressure hose near the oil filter block.. 6. PS high pressure hose leaking.. How hard is it to change it? Jobs i've done myself so far is engine/filter/radiator flush, CAI installation (not on the zed), and drivebelts change. 7. Fuel tank empty lights never came on, despite the needle going below the red line.. Does this happen to all Zeds, or it has to go lower for the lights to come out? 8. Annoying 105kmph sound lol. Any ideas how to get rid of it? Sorry for the long post, and thanks for reading and the information guys!
