Hi guys, can anyone point me in the right direction on whats good to buy, and where to go for shockies with an adjustable bottom spring saddle. Ive just fitted 18"wheels and want to set the height up to suit without compromising spring travel and ride.Love the website, all the best from Tassie- Phil

The bilstein shocks have an adjustable spring perch. Try a search using words like "shocks", "struts", "Bilstein", and "Koni".

all the ones I've seen that are adjustable

in height also compress the springs so by lowering the ride height you inheritly increase the preload on the springs.I have Tein Type-Flex adjustable shocks and I like their ride feel.

    thanks

thanks guys Ive had plenty to do with Konis in the past and yeah I realise that preload will increase but at least with adjustables I'm maintaining original spring lengths and have the option of not going too far with the lowering job. Biggest problem is sourcing a supplier in tassie, and not knowing who I'm dealing with when I shop over the phone with someone on the big island thanks for the input - phil
