If it just works by advancing your ignition timing, then that >> smells like DANGER to me... (like i need any more advancement in mine ) Maybe a stock car running 98 octane would be safe, but if your car is already modified it may increase chances of detination. :unsure:
Tricks your ecu into thinking the engine is colder than it really is therefore forcing richer fuel maps/advancing timing... what a wank! You can effectively do the same thing for free by disconnecting your coolant temp sensor (which is not recommended! EDIT: Don't do this, as you also go into safety boost and will prob foul your plugs, backfire a lot and wear out your aux fan which will run constantly...:wacko:
It doesn't work on a Zed.......>> Forget what the stupid add says, the Zed doesn't monitor inlet temperature like skylines and a lot of other cars, so this will not work on a zed.
