I have removed everything in the way but the evaporator box is retained by the high and low pressure lines fouling on the grommets in the firewall. Is this just a matter of brute force to pull them thru or is there some trick.
The box thing in the dash? There is a retaining plat on the firewall. One 10mm nut on it and a rubber grommet around it. You have to undo the nut, remove the plate and pull out the rubber bit. Then the whole thing just pulls horizontally out towards you while in the car
