As some of you may know Caz and I were invited back to Oran Park today to have some more fun. I took ZX2NV down for some playing on the track and managed a fastest time of 54.36 seconds running my 225 bling 20's which pretty much stuffed 2k in tyres the track ripped chunck of tread off etc but was so fun (note to self next time take hoosiers) it was also pretty hot out and I am pretty sure I have destroyed the exhaust gaskets on my car there seems to be some loudish leaks around the turbos etc so will check it out. It was absolutley awesome though as we were running on the track with the V8 supercars. I could sort of keep up with them on the back of the track but on the straight they were gone. It was a very enjoyable experience. Caz got a couple of rides in They had the VK races again for the sponsors and some even got to drive Aarons car which was quite funny to watch. All in all another top day out with the V8 crews. Aaron and the guys at Auto Motion Motorsports do a standup job and should be supported in every way possible Should have some pics up soon so watch this space
Yeah Im spoiled but so was Jason getting on the track amongst these cars... Brett Hobson took me out in his Supercar and OMG he is just amazing. I have read about him and his exceptional driving ability so being in the car with him and watching his feet, gear changes, lines and brake points was such a privilege, especially through the dog leg (my favorite bit of the track ) Usually its 1 slower lap and 1 full noise in a Supercar but we did 1 warm up and 3 full noise Got to go out again in the VK as a passenger while the McGill guys had a play, they are just a hoot..luv em! My kids were with me and to see their eyes light up when they could jump into the car they had watched race on TV last Sunday was brilliant I could take them out to pit wall and they could feel a V8 Supercar pass them within feet at over 200k/h. Not many kids get that experience, adults either for that matter... They even got to play in Matts Formula ford. It has been a real eye opener this week to spend two days with Supercars. The guys in the Fujitsu Series work so damn hard to be there, their budgets aren't huge and their passion for what they do and their generosity in sharing it are just amazing. Best Party ever with no alcohol involved, just adrenalin !!
told you .. you are grossly spoiled ..!!! .. and how do i get to be one of your kids ,, ??? .. yes, i'm lovely toooooo ...!!!!! just great caz, well done .. and to have your kids there, what a magic christmas present .. i am definitely very, very green .... !!! .. great pics ...
Hey Baz, your bias is showing again. Sure Caz is in her element, and the kids would have had a ball too, but not getting one comment from you RE: Jason's awesome experience of throwing his Z32 around Oran Park in the midst of a pack of V8 Tourers(which would have been an extremely rare sight) is just a little unbelievable(or are you going to make another thread for that?).

It is definetily a + that ZEDS were there and not Skylines, 200's e.t.c No offence to anyone of course... It is evident that 300's are SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHER NISSANS. HECK MOST OTHER CARS>.. HAHA...
