So I've done the plenum pull, heater core bypass, egr delete, aiv delete. Injector connector replacement. All cooling hoses, and removed the under plenum coolant lines. Everything has been bypassed properly...

Now I arrive at work the day after, passenger side turbo was whining after abit of the loud pedal.

Now what may be the causes?

Perhaps you left a small bolt inside on of the intake pipes and the turbo ate it for lunch?

    Mmmm

Imagine Turbo wine would have a slight metallic taste.
Turbo whine however could be your bearings failing, when that happens all of the bits go straight down the drain pipe to the sump and through the rest of the engine,
Needs to be pulled straight away to avoid further damage.
All of the above work has no bearing (pun) on the turbos they can let go at any time, getting pretty old now and probably done lots of k's

Thanks Wizard, engine pull time! I'll baby her the 10km home tonight and start the pull. Anyone have an engine crane I could politely borrow for a few days?

    Thanks again fellas. :)

Disregard, the sound was from a leak where the egr plate on the passenger side goes. Big relief :)
