    Hi All
I've been around the forum off and on for a while.
I have just got my 300 back from loaning this to my olds who needed an extra car.
Since getting it back I have noticed a few thing not working but the one I'm working on is the A/C I got it working but it was blowing the fuse under the bonnet I have nailed it down the compressor at this stage.

I was wondering how hard it is to remove the compressor as I have never done this and cannot find anything on this.

    Any help would be great.

If you look the front of the compressor while engine is running and let someone turn the AC on . Look at the clutch and see if it spins . If it doesnt it could be the clutch is faulty . Can aparently be repaired without taking the compressor out .

Mine after laying around for a year or so I had it filled with oil and gassed . It worked great the first day and the next morning it blew a relay . I noticed the fuse was 20A which should have been 10A . Replaced the relay and put the proper fuse in and has worked ever since .

Thanks Kakaboy I have already done this and he clutch does ingage just the fuse blows I have re-gased the system too.
This is why I think it is compressor.

Well to remove isnt overly hard . I remove the radiator and fan . The two bottom bolts are easy to get to as is the front top . But there is another bolt directly inline with the top at the back of the compressor . You can take the gas lines off the compressor to give you more room .
