Found this, on concept z's site...

Looks like a factory blue and is labelled as 99 j-spec...

Looks like possible the same blue as the 97 r390 gt1 "production car" at the Zama storage facility...

Anybody have the colour code for this?

It doesn't look like the factory midnight blue as it is very similar to the 97 r390 gt1 le mans colour and that is not midnight.

That is the colour i want the colour code for. or even the name for the colour which i simply can't find so figured one of you zedophiles could help me.

Suspected to be the same as...

I'm past the whole, "lets go out and get drunk on overpriced drinks and chase girls with questionable intentions" nights out...

That blue wasn't a '99/2000 spec colour - like many car shows, I think Nissan presented a "special" colour. The official list of '99 spec colours is:
    EV1 Lightning Yellow
    KR4 Sonic Silver
    LP2 Midnight Purple Pearl
    AJ4 Red
    KH3 Black
    QN0 White Pearl

As you say, it looks very similar to the R390 Blue ....

Hmm yeah and obviously i can't find the r390 colour code, the only similar one i have seen is on the 05 maxima.... but its slightly darker i think...

can anybody think of other production cars in a similar colour? maybe i can find a colour code for something else...

I'd have said bayside blue like on the GTR's
    [IMG]

But that colour looks a lot darker then the bayside blue, might be a one off sort of thing. Try and get a decent quality picture and your paint shop might be able to give you something very similar..

Yeah just hoping for a colour code rather than a custom mix up, a couple of shades off etc and it can ruin the entire look of a car.

I guess to be sure just get a sample pot mixed up and test paint a sample with clearcoat and look at it under fluros from different angles.. Handy if u got spraypainting friends.

Sapphire Blue is not as bright I don't think, along way of.

The GTR colour looks alot closer.

Yeah, it's definately the same colour, but i don't fancy my chances of trying to find the colour code or even the name of the colour of a car they made 2 of.

The GTR blue is nowhere near as dark, but the saphire blue actually looks marginally darker i think, or perhaps not a metallic or something.
