'98 Manual Gearbox Different?

    I have been looking at the '98 manual 5 speed available from COZ. Major question: Will this fit my 89 TT?

    Its the same fitment. But has improved internals.

    It bolts straight on. Only thing is there is a weird extra inspection hole in the bell housing about the size of a 20C pce on the passenger side that isnt there in the old box. I made a small steel cover to cover it up.

    Box is lovely. :D

    For the info. Looks like I'll be getting one then.

    Might be able to grab second at the drags next time. (I swear it wasn't driver error!!)
