    In Brief,

Car bought off Tokyo owner with Logbooks (authenticated) from Brisbane Dealer in April 2002. Had 78,000Km (real). 207 Km now (no new dash pods here.!!)
Stock with EOM only 'cosmetic' exterior mods like painted Mudflaps, Cleared and Smoked lights, HIDs in all up front incl fogs + pod filter (have all original parts with the car - Air Box and new filters, Orange indicators, orig. Taillights etc).
    ,
Focus on maintanance at all times. S2 PTU, Temp Warning device, hardpipes, Fogs. Single piece tailshaft. I have Had 2 Timing belts done one at 86K and another by Fleet at around $180K. Under plennum maintenance by Niall (rollin) recently including injector service and PCVs etc.

Plenty of other stuff done to maintain and keep original and looking good. This car does drive like a new Z, its tight 'Susp bushes done when required etc) and has not lost any horses along the way.

not interested in hearing you can buy one for 2k .. cos you only get what you pay for. If your interested in a good specimen then this may be the one you've been waiting for .. if your after a donga then go to ebay.

    All serious offers considered...

See Pics at this thread and can email more or add videos for interstaters

Very nice Z! It's a pity to see such devoted Z32 owners like yourself wanting to part with their treasured cars. I certainly hope yours is purchased by someone who'll keep it original. Though I'm sure you'll regret letting it go, all the best with the sale.

Its here and On carsales but I'm not too worried if it sells or not .. Its got 6 months rego on it and if it sells for a reasonable price I will let it go .. if not then I'll just use it when I feel the need.

Habits and desires change over the years and at one stage I just dreampt up ways of going for a drive in it (hense the 10000Km per annum). in the last 2 years, I feel like - damn I better use it - cos I beleive they need to be driven reasonably regularly... Its still unreal to get in and go for a run and the power is significantly more apparant than a similarly powered 300HP V8 Landover Discovery (the 2.5 tone behemoth just dont wanna jump like the Z) that I seem to use most of the time now. .... and when you get to a corner in the LR you just about slide across the cabin - not to mention the bodyroll.

I suppose the bottom line is that if someone wants it and the 'market value' is right then I'll sell it ...
I'm fully aware that there are a lot in the marketplace (some really cheap too) and a lot of people want one to play with and add bits and make it go fast/er etc and thats fine too ... must say I was tempted on a number of occasions, but there seem to be less and less available with the original look ... even if this one has also been 'enhanced' somewhat. But it is easy to take back to complete stock as all parts are with the car (indicators, Globes, wheels etc) you can even remove the color coded mudflaps if you like.

The thing that puzzles me most, is that I don't and have never had this as a daily driver (I work from Home) and its nearly impossible to not drop 10K per annum, I see some that have 60K divided by 23 years is only 2.5K per annum. When this car came from Japan it was a tokyo car (pretty hard to get a more 'condensed driving range') and had averaged 7K pa. which is 'believeable'.
What and Where are the 60K cars coming from? a storage area (or out of the vortex) or where are all the 60K dash pods coming from ? MIB ? Is it true thay have to be taken off the road in Japan after 5 years -(or at least pay exponetial 'running taxes') how can they then be stored for 15 years (costs for this kind of thing in japan where every square foot is of significant value)

Who would have the funds to take them - store them- till offshore demand makes it worthwhile to sell - it would nieve not to realise most are windbacks or Pod changes (not all - thats for sure) but I know when I bought this car many years ago there were a couple I drove at the time that were 60k (in your dreams) - I've driven toyotas with 500K on the clock that were 'tighter'.

When you buy an Aussie car - you know it autenticated Kms usage (for all but the most extreme cases) when you buy an import you (generally) know FA. buyer beware.

I guess I could keep it after all. z love

    now $12,500.00 on Carsales...

But would consider offers in the general vacinity to a Zed Club member.

I'm sure 'Rollin' would give anyone an honest appraisal of the vehicles condition as he did do the Plennum maintenance and injector servicing recently.

    regards

Yes its pretty well in ya face eh!

Yes the day I picked it up after the roadworthy the little plastic grommet that clips onto the Brake pedal fell apart which leaves the brake on at all times...

I seldom drive it and picked it when the vids were taken ... .

A $25.00 part thats smaller than a 5 cent piece is now back in place ready for the next 23 years... another ready to fit to cruise control alongside is in the glovebox.

2 x Brand new EOM turbos (from COZ) installed by 'Rollin' one of (IMHO) the best (if not the) best Mechanics in QLD.

Ditched the Pod filter and reinstalled the OEM filter with new OEM Nissan filters (Rollins Advice).
    4 x new 235 45 R17 tyres
    New Rego.
Remember this car has had and been fully maintained at mech 'stock'
FULL Timing belt +/- 25 k ago by fleet (including Water pump Cam seals tentioner idler bearings and all belts and full monty while in there.) Not many miles per annum since then
FULL plenum rejuvenation (not 'pull' or bypass) $1200.00 parts (from CAZ) including all new hoses PCVs done, injector service, Heater hoses, and everything else = done right.

2 BRAND NEW Stock turbos, new Det sensor and all other associated maintenance while out .. and full service and every thing else required at the time by Rolling.. running smooth right now.

All this and on car sales at $11,500 ATM but will let members make an offer if your playing the same game.

Have stock wheels if you want them? and other bits and pieces (orange indicators etc which I preferred to go 'smoked')

It will sell to the right buyer .. as Its one of the best around and it has full history with original logbooks (in Japanese of course).

    anyway thanks for looking.

    I do love the Zeds.

I have only had 1 person look at this car? and they bought a do-er upper for $5000 instead? It may have been that didn't have the cash but looked anyway?

Is there such limited interest in Zeds or am I overpriced ?

    Hang in there

Just to let you know I have just purchased my first Zed over here in WA and I was seriously considering flying over to have a look at yours before I found mine. I ended up with a pretty good, clean original 2x0 but can't help but wonder about yours. If you keep dropping the price the way you have been I may end up with 2!!!! What ever you do don't give it away, things are tight but I just paid $8500 and it's the best money I have spent for ages. people just don't realize the bang for buck you get when buying off someone like yourself who looks after their gear...
