Hi guys, I'm after a set of 6x9 brackets for the rear speakers - does anyone know where I can get a pair? - second hand or new?

Do I have to get them specifically made for a 300 or are they just a generic thing -

Also, anyone got pics of them installed by any chance?

    Thank you

How much for a pair of those corner boxes with no holes in, I was thinking of mounting my 6x9's in them :)

With a bit of manipulation I just drilled some new holes in the brackets already there and my 6x9 fitted :)

Not entirely true, depends if you have the ABS control unit. Amandas 91 na 2+0 zed hasnt got the unit, so fitting 6x9's like you have will work, where as my 90 na 2+0 zed has the unit and stopped me from doing such mod.

    food for thought!

6x9s behind you will ruin your sound stage i.e. all your sound will be coming from behind you. a wise man once asked me - would you attend a concert and stand with your back to the stage?

oval speakers like 6x9s are only worth using if you wont be adding a subwoofer.

i would go for some decent front 6" splits on a 2channel amp, then either forget about the rears or get 4x6 plate speakers like these which are pretty much tweeters anyway. so even if youre bass crazy (like me) you wont drown the mids and highs :)
