obviuosly ppl are aware of the new 370Z being unveild in the LA motor show nxt month but what do ppl think about the new engine options. so they say ti will come with the new 3.7Ltr thats in the V37 just short of 250 Kw which sound nice along side a weight reduction... but how bout the possiblity of a V8 that theyre talking about??? As off last year I dont think nissan make a V8 anymore...Do they?. So if this is the case I think it might just be wishfull thinking. Would be great to hear one with a nice V8 note
They've still got the VK45, the Titan's VK56 and now the 290kW VK50 from the Infiniti FX50. Nissan certainly has no shortage of hi-po V8 motors to choose from.
NIssan has a few nice V8's under their sleeves. Dont forget the inifiniti range which has a couple of V8 SUV/4X4's
From a purists point of view, a V8 isnt really what comprises a Z car as traditionally zeds in the past have only had 6 cylinder engines. But as Nissan go for larger and larger engine displacements it'll probably come to the stage that extra cylinders will be required. If only they brought out another V6 TT for the new zed, thatd be awesome (imagine the 3.7L TT'ed ) Could be a pretty cool conversion motor for us too!
Just throwing this out there. We are supposed to have one of the first 370Z's coming to our Z Convention courtesy of Nissan USA. Obviously, I'll throw some pics up next year when it comes to Texas.
AWSOME im already planning which of thw twins will be sold to science so i can buy a zed guess it has to be the one that goes to ballroom dance class (jks)
