Just for a point of reference since I have seen people ask on here......

A '89 TT Auto New Motor 100% stock will run 15.3 and 15.39 sec over the quarter at Willowbank

should be a bit quicker than that

    low 14s should be possible.

    ????

Yeah...I thought it would run 14.5 personally before I had a go.

My V6 VX commodore auto runs a 16.1, my mate Gen3 ute runs 15.1 and the 300ZX seems a lot faster than both of them.

I think I loose a lot off the line and when it climbs into 3rd nearr the end you can feel the auto lock-in and the engine RMP drop off.

    It ran 92MPH ET.

Maybe that is as fast as they run???

A modified Skyline only ran 14.1 .....and they are about 350kg lighter. I weigh 110kg so it all adds up I guess?

15.3 is what NA's can get

and 1 NA that was on here got a 14.5

The modified skyline was 350kgs lighter? How much does that skyline weigh and how much does your zed weigh?

    Give me some times???

HERE IS 1 RESULT from a forum I found....

Well with major traction issues and bogging all night last night (60ft time ranging from 2.24 - 2.5) the best time I could muster was 13.6@104.7 mph. with these mods

    Intake
    Genie Exhaust
    JWT ECU
    Under drive pulley
    Gutted pre-cats
    HKS Intercoolers
    AVCR set to 1 bar.
    Damn near new ACT clutch.

    HERE IS THE FACTORY SPECS.....

    0 - 60 mph 6.5 seconds
    0 - 100 mph 16.5 seconds
    0 - 1/4 mile 15.0 seconds
    epa city/hwy 18 / 24 mpg

I posted my results of 15.3 sec for general info.....but if someone is pulling 14's with a

    100% stock '89TT

I would like to talk to them please as I definately have something wrong then........with the engine

Remember....100%stock, no pods, no extra boost, no nuthin.....

Those times indicate safety boost (or big boost leak!!!)

You are running less than 9PSI my friend. My first run before any mods was 14.4sec. A mate of mine (stretch) was running those sorts of times with code 34 (det sensor) which puts it in safety boost (7PSI).

Sounds like safety boost to me too

    Blipman Beer hooves totally work

Or bad launch/traction... makes a huge difference

    yep.. safety boost..

i run my zed the first time i got was 15.3sec as my quickest. i thought it was top shit at thetime as my old car only run 16.8sec(damn 4 bangers) but after plugging karls computer in my car we fixed the problem easily and am now running a nice 13.8sec..

when i first run i was in safety boost plus i had 3 big boost leaks..

    stretch:LOL:

    I've run high 13s

with just pod, zorst and 14PSI, and low 13s with the auto shift kit installed.

Can't wait to try with the UDP and FMIC

I expect I would have run mid to high 14's with the car as purchased (Stock), but that's only an estimate.
