no offence mate, but if your looking at getting a zed in good nick, somethings are definitely worth travelling and/or waiting for!

i covered the metropolitan area more than 3 times looking at zeds, but at the end of the day, i had seen all the ones for sale and i could pick the best one out of them.

i think at the ones i looked at first, if i had bought one of them compared to what i have now, i'd be a lot poorer.

if this car sounds as good as it does, and Franz's opinion would be good testament to that, i'd say travel the extra 10km or so and have a look.

I would never time waste! I am keenly interested in getting a 300 ZX it just the final decision of the parents for the verdict, i don't know why they have to control my money....

to be honest I just better off stop bugging them and be quiet about it till there ready to have a look or prepared to have a look at it though Im seriously keen on going to see it and paying $9000 or $11800 for it. they're not. and after a dozen attempts this week I guess it isnt going to work for now. maybe another 4 or 7 weeks to be honest.

 

in the circumstances you describe, i really cannot see

4-7 weeks making one ounce of difference .. a bit of time and hope has been expended on this one .. suggest that you suspend your hopes until you/your parents are fully committed to the purchase of a zed in principle .. and only then begin sourcing a zed and querying sellers .. without the ability to commit you are indeed just wasting others time ...!!!

jus a quick(and strange) question - how much are you paying for insurance on it? jus so i have a rough idea if i buy it

 

i was paying just under $1000 a year
i know u can get it cheap, based on age an stuff, an well, some insurance companies that say "we dont do imports" u can get thru a loop whole with, an get full coverage.

last i checked it was $900ish a year, at 12k + stereo + rims for the car.
so bout 14 -15k all up, wich isnt bad.

 

transmisson serviced.. all ok now
an another 6months licence

still asking 10500.
will prob fit some exhausts to it this weekend cause there sitting in the shed.

for 11k, ill attempt to refit the side mount intercoolers as well.
