No, you still need a boost controller.

I assume the graphed results are from a stock z? Would this chip play nicely with mods, eg exhaust, pod filters, intercoolers? And would it handle boost increases, or is it strictly an upgrade for a stock TT?

Can someone explain to me why these chips are so good?

dont you need to custom tune as per your vehicle to get the best out of it....how would it be good for a car like yours Benny?? Not having a go just interested ti know why?

With other mods you will probably get even better results.

Boost will be limited by the stock injectors.

My recommendation would be to wack it on a dyno to check air fuel ratios and get them to test maximum safe boost on the actual car, as each car is different.

I'm rebuilding my zed with os pistons bigger turbo's and the such. Would this chip work well with that?

Yes but you may be limited to how much boost, again a dyno and check of air fuel ratios would be needed, testing for maximum safe boost again.

The OS pistons wont be a problem as the extra capacity will be metered via your MAF.

 

I'm looking at a set of 555c injectors, anything else limiting boost? (i'm learning mate sorry).

 

Single or dual air intake ?

IE half metering MAF

What turbo's ?

 

Single but that can change if needed, i bought this cheap 3a high flow one a while back to replace an old k&n. This car is a neverending story.
