As mentioned before, I have a few contacts in the States who can supply a lot of the things we value over here. I am putting together a crate to be shipped in the next 2 - 3 weeks which will hopefully get here before I leave for my Army commitments. This might have to be left until I return but lets try anyway! This time around if what you want is not too large and we can fit in the crate we will ship. Now the interesting part! I am not willing nor can I afford to cover the entire cost of all parts ordered. There is going to have to be some form of pre-payment so as to cover the obvious costs and to that extent there is going to be some trust issues on the line. heya wildstyle can you hook us up a link for the Infinity Kappa 462,5 Speakers(direct fit for existing 300ZX rear position) had a quick look but couldnt find anything.
The 462.5 KAPPAs have been replaced Infinity released the 462.7 last year with their +1 injection moulded woofer cone. Same size speaker but now slightly higher top end.....25000 Hz rather than 21000. Here is one of a few links I refer to. Retail in the States is between $80 and 130 online with Infinity stating these have a RRP of US$280 I am sure that if we get a few orders together my man in the States can pick up a bulk lot at the lower end of the $80 - 130 bracket. I have used Infinity in all my cars since 1995 plus I also have Infinity Reference speakers in my home. What you need to be mindful of is the car speakers do not work well without an amplifier plus they need to have some crossover control so as not to overfeed them bass. A 6 x 4 speaker is not meant to thump!......there are plenty of subs that will do that! What these and the 6-1/2" door speakers I am also bringing in will do is give you "music" rather than amplified noise. Spoken like a true Infinity fan.......now come on Harman Australia........how about a free set for me after all this publicity!!!!
Are the front speakers splits? I'm keen on splits for the front and 6*4's for the rear. Can you get power ratings (RMS and Peak Wattage) for both front and rear. Are your prices in USD? Can you post the cost in AUD roughly?

I've got a set of Infinity splits in the front & they're bloody fantastic, highly recommended. Forget the model number but the top 6" reference model that was out in '04, fits like a glove in the door with tweeter mounted up near the vents. not the best photo but gives you an idea. cheers, tim

Infinity KAPPA 462.7cfp keen on those Infinity KAPPA 462.7cfp for the rear. depending on price but anything under 130$ sounds good to me probably would get some splits for the front depending on how much cash i got at the time. how long you going to be away with your army commitments? Thanx Hooka
Try as I might I don't think... the 6 x 4 Infinity Speakers will come in as low as $130....... Might be more like $150 but lets see what comes up after the week-end!
