I know theres one around Melbourne or whatever and whatnot, I've seen the road train of Zeds going on a tour passing through my town. I guess either none of you guys are on these forums or your a very tight knit bunch. Basically next time you guys go on a tour I wanna join up with you and drive about the country side

Gee your all the way up in Qld.... My brother brought a 94 model TT Zed off ebay in 2004 from Brisbane, Because he had to work I flew up from Melbourne to pick it up. I gotta tell you that was the best long distance drive's I've ever done! It was the first time I'd been up there since a kid. In any other car the 2000k give or take drive would've sucked. But it was great fun. I drove it back with no number plates just the permit and I didn't get pulled over once, I couldn't believe it. So yeah you can imagine I had a bit of fun drivig at night. Those truck drivers are mental. I kept passing them at 180 and going for a few K's then slowing down to sped limit and they were on my ass within a few minutes. anyways.....Good times

Nice phrase "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy shit...what a ride!" I like that one , anyway I'm guessing you guys weren't the one's I saw in the Zed train last year? Must have been another group From NSW or VIC
That would have been the trip to Berri for the annual Show 'n' Shine held by the Riverside Auto Club. There's a few of us go from Melbourne each year, and pass through Mildura. Keep your eye on the "Coming Events" forum... Berri is on again later this year.
