I found one place online that still sells the 300km/h speedo kit for over $300AU - I thought 'stuff that' - they used to be $100... If you check regularly on Ebay, you might find a replacement whole speedo which has the 300km/h kit already fitted.

Search the Group Buys or For Sale section. There have been sales for the white face 300km/h speedo gauges. Around $100 for the kit. Can't remember the sellers name tho...

    Cheers

I ran the last group buy, after taking it over from Fleet when AMEC shut down. I won't run another though, as it will cost too much to manufacture without a guaranteed 25+ people committed to purchase (which I can't see happening).

Well I'd buy two or three if they were a reasonable price - please let me know if anyone knows of anyone doing a GB or selling these, thanks.

I'm seeking a full set in white -specifically 260/300kph, but ultimately depending on quality. ~Prefering replacment dials rather than printed overlays.~
But please offer a heads up if anything gets underway - and I'll see if any of us kiwis care to participate in purchases.

hi can anyone tell me if you change from a 180klm speedo to a 300klm speedo that has been working properly in another car, do you have to change the speed sensor or anything else for that matter.

If the speedo you've bought works & has the 300km/h module already fitted - all should be ok. All the converting stuff is built-in the 300km/h module.

hi thanks to all the replies on my last 300klm speedo , i was very fortunate to find one through a wrecker for $200.00. When it arrived i noticed that the circuit board on the back was green where my old 180klm speedo was blue. I made a few phone calls and the info was confusing to say the least. I thought theres only one way to find out and after a couple of hours the new 300klm speedo was installed and im happy to say all the gauges work perfectly. So if ya still trying to fine a 300klm speedo try some wreckers you'll be suprised as i was and in my case as im sure it should be ok regardless of the color of the circuit board. ONE thing i must say at this time one of the gauges i saw had two horiziontal plugs and one vertical one so be sure to take the gauge pad of and slip a small mirror inside and you'll see the plugs i ve mentioned. good luck to all and again thanks to all for your imput, regards lou
