jsut got a fine in the mail.

$150 - 1 demerit point for doing 9 over the limit.

on last friday, i got flashed for going through an orange.. think i got done for speeding tho..

then the next day, saturday, i got flashed again at an intersection on orange. again might be speeding. same spot as the first fine im pretty sure

good bye demerits. and cash.

nah not yet. P platers get 5. so i figure i got 4. hopefully the 2 im pretty sure il get are for under 10 over. then il have 2 points left !!

f**ken hoddle street and vic street. didnt know there was a camera there!! got me at 1040am. on my way to work..

then i got flashed this sat, but i duno what speed i was doing. i dotn think i was speeding!

im getting random numbers from every1... some people tell me i got 12 points while others tell me i got 5... how much do i have?

 

What you need is a GPS that tells you where all the fixed light cameras are.

I realise he just go them but wouldnt you think that - hmm go thru orange light speeding FLASH! - go thru another orange light speeding FLASH! theres some kinda pattern startin here... its not nice i know therefore GPS would be a good way to go, works for us.

and yeah thats a smart as idea. i might get mum or dad to take it for me. yeah i didnt know ALL cameras could get you for both speeding and runnign reds. i dont think i was speeding. i dunno. il see how it goes. prob wont be 3 weeks til i get these fines. so eh..

and my gps said nothign. and i got a tom tom go720. so its bulshit.

 

just went on the vicroads website..
have a learner permit or probationary driver licence and you get 5 or more demerit points in any 12 month period or you get 12 or more demerit points in any 3 year period,

so we get 5 point a year is it? mad..

You actually have a total of 12 on your P's but if you loose more than 5 in your FIRST year, thats when you will cop the either 3 months suspenison or 1 year good behaviour. If you were to spread your points over the three years you'll be fine, if this is your first year, you'll be pushing it

its ok.. il be pushing it. but i should have under 5 demerits gone..
i dont mind the money part.. was worried about the points.
even when i *think* i got flashed, i passsed a police car on the other side of the road who jsut looked at me LOL

Hmm, unless the cop was wrong, I heard him say myself cause my mate was dropping me off after work. "Watch yourself as you only have 12 points on your P's..." and my friend said "I have 12?" the cop agreed.

 

Haha good job, if they suspend your licence even for a month over any of the fines, they will also cancel your passenger licence, which means you can only carry one person. Its ok if you drive a 2 seater, but looking at yours, you have a 2+2.
