VIC 27th Sep. Detailing day with a difference.

The difference is that we will all be working on one car, and no, it isn't mine. Saturday the 27th of September is the night of the NDSOC's 40th anniversary dinner and they have asked Jack to put his car on display. This is a great honour with guests at the dinner including Fred Gibson, Jim Richards and Jeff Fischer from Nissan.

Jack doesn't park his car in a garage and he drives it every day so I thought it would be only fitting if we got together to give it the once over beforehand so that the car that represents the mighty Z32 is as good as we can get it.

I'll have some details of what time the car has to be delivered to Sandown after the next meeting and will post times then, but the location will be our place in Carrum Downs.

 

Would love to help out, I'll be there! Falls on a weekend that I have off for once, no need to take annual leave

I dont know about others, but I find cleaning a car relaxing and peaceful :zlove:

OK, its in the calendar. I'll have a piece of bling back from the platers for Jack by then plus I'll bring along the s/s bolts box in case some are required. Guess I'll also bring the car polishing arm with me - and maybe the new wheels and tyres - be good to see what they look like on a Z.

 

I'm a maybe, I will do my best to make it though.

 

Rough times for this will be 10.00 till 2.00 as the car has to be at sandown around 3.00.

 

Sounds good, will get to catch the end of the AFL grand final too! Oh what time does the actual dinenr start, I cant find the start time listed on any of the printouts?

 

Can't find the start time anywhere on the website or the newsletter. I'll chase Karyn and get some details.
