    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has a photocopy or scan of a spec sheet or brochure for the 25th anniversary Steve Millen Z? I'm looking to get 9.5" wheels on the rear and VIC road laws prevent wheels any larger than 1" greater than 'factory' width being legal. I've heard the 25thASMZ had 17x8 and others say 17x9, possibly referring to the fronts and rears, but for insurance purposes does anyone have a 'hard' copy so if I ever need to show that it was at some stage a factory option that I can be covered?

    Cheers, Andrew

a long shot .. but not long ago, a member was flogging

a heap of zed historical stuff, nissan/zed publicity, mags and the like .. have a distant recall that it included 25th anniversary material .. cannot recall who ended up buying it .. but a search may lead to the info you are chasing ... just a thought ..???

Hahaha    I know who owns that magazine ... I only bought it for the Z article, honest! I've been to strip joints too, I guess politics is out for a career move now - thank goodness (or badness, as the case may be :D :D :D )

Stock US TT had 8.5" on the back. I'm sure you could print out that page from the service manual.

Thanks guys! I'm pretty sure insurance company's would be only interested in aussie factory options as such...but I'm sure seeing in print 17x9 will be very helpful!

Mike, did they magazine happen to have any info on the SMZ?

    Cheers, Andrew

if you are worried about what the insurance company says Andrew, how will having a copy of what a u.s spec zed came out with help, when u have to comply to an aus spec ,if they look into it,they would be judging your cars mods on what spec vehicle you have   the same goes for vic road regulations
Just put a fake tyre/wheel sticker on ,im sure you know which website sells them,or better still, just put a 9 on

No, just the Aussie 25th Anniversary model which was the Stillen modded NA 2+2, whereas the SMZ was a 2 seater TT.

However, I've scanned a couple of books for you.
    1) See the comments about the Aussie 25th Anniversary, taken from Brian Long's "Nissan 300ZX 350Z - The Z-car story", and
    2) Article on the US SMZ taken from "Nissan 350Z and 300ZX Portfolio 1984-2003" put out by Road and Track magazine.

In these you'll note that the SMZ actually had 17x9 on front and 18x9.5 on rear, whereas it looks like our 25th had 17x9 all round.

    Hope these help, cheers, Mikey.

I think the person to ask andrew is JAMEZX as he has a 25th anniversary model and i think he has the service book for it which would have the info you need. I think its a good choice i might even go them myself as they are factory rims afterall:)

Thanks Mike/Adam, and Simon, I was saying I'm NOT using the US version...which is why I was asking about the aussie version...

I think you may change your mind when you find out the price of these. One of mine was damaged a couple of years ago, and the price then was more than $500 a pair.:zlove:

The ones on RZ1 are in poor condition and are rears only.
RZ2 is not yet in my possession, but if the mudflaps are in good condition, they will be up for sale as I have Stillen skirts and rear bar to go on.

Won't have far to go as I am also in Carrum Downs!
